Registration for MAS Seminars 

This page has been set up to allow easy registration for Maryland Acupuncture Society seminars. Click on a link to the right to begin registration. MAS holds high quality continuing education seminars on acupuncture and Asian medicine with world renowned speakers twice a year. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are granted to licensed acupuncturists. Smaller seminars on ethics, insurance, and other topics of local interest are held at various times throughout the year.

Some of the recordings can be used to get CEU credits by taking a test and are found under MAS DISTANCE LEARNING in the menu at the left.

Seminars Offered by Allied Organizations

At this time, the APA, AOBTA, ASVA, ASDC, NCAAOM (North Carolina), NJAAOM and VTAA are allied organizations. Visit the Allied Organization page and click on the Allied organization websites for further information.

Allied Organizations offer MAS members a 10% discount on their seminars and MAS reciprocates with the members of the allied organizations.

Acupuncture Society of Virginia (ASVA)

Orthopedic/Trigger Point Acupuncture:
A Hands-On Approach to Lower Back, Neck and Upper Extremity Pain - presented by Jamie Chavez, L.Ac, Saturday & Sunday, April 21st & 22nd, 2018, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 16 NCCAOM PDA and 16 California CEU Category 1 Live approved.

This 2-day workshop will provide participants with the fundamentals needed to assess, treat, and prevent a variety of common injuries. The course will consist of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice integrating a variety of physical examination skills. Participants can expect to gain proficiency in clinical anatomy, palpation, range of motion assessment, manual muscle testing, orthopedic testing, and trigger point needling techniques.
